Partnerships
Org Admins can create new partnerships via the Admin tab.
Non-admin users can request a partnership with another organisation via a Feed.
The request must be approved by an Admin before the partnership is created.
Add an existing partner to a feed
To add an existing partner to a feed:
- In the top bar of the feed, click ‘Add submitters’ (Feed In) / ‘Add recipients’ (Feed Out).
- In ‘Who is receiving data?’ select ‘Someone in a partner organisation’.
- Your existing partner organisations will be suggested. Select one to continue.
- Select whether the organisation should be allowed to access all data previously submitted to the feed.
- Enter any submission notes that will be sent along with scheduled data submission requests.
-
Select users within that organisation to be the default data submitters.
These users will receive notifications whenever data is automatically requested or sent.
Invite any additional users required.
- Review the details and click ‘Add to feed’. The partner will be added to the feed.
Add a new partner to a feed
To create a new partner and add them to a feed:
- Follow steps 1 and 2 above. At the list of existing partners, click ‘Add partner’.
- Enter the email addresses of the partner-organisation contacts you want to invite, then click ‘Search organisations’.
-
If the organisation already exists on Quantemplate, it will be suggested as a partner.
If the organisation does not yet exist on Quantemplate, its name and logo will be automatically populated.
Confirm the organisation details and continue to create the organisation.
- Select whether the organisation should be allowed to access all data previously submitted to the feed.
-
Enter any notes to include with the partnership request email that will be sent to the other organisation.
Next, enter any submission notes that will be sent along with data submission requests.
-
Review the details and click ‘Send request’. If the organisation is new to Quantemplate it will be activated immediately.
If the organisation already exists on Quantemplate, their Admin will receive a partnership request.
Once approved, the partnership will become active.
Add more organisations to a feed
A feed can exchange data with multiple organisations, including your own.
To add more organisations to a feed, click the organisation name in the top bar,
then click ‘Add organisation’ and follow the steps above.
Request users for another organisation
Quantemplate allows you to send a request to another organisation’s Admin for users to join their organisation.
To send a new user request:
- Click the partner logo in the top bar and select the organisation.
-
Enter the email addresses of the new users in the partner organisation and click ‘Send request’.
Their Admin will receive a new-user request by email with instructions for how to add the user to the feed.
Multiple organisations for a domain
A business entity can be represented by one or more web domains.
For example, an organisation Acme Inc could be using the domains acme.com and acme-global.com.
These can both be attached to Acme Inc on Quantemplate and used to identify the organisation in search.
Business entities can also have multiple organisations on Quantemplate.
For example, Acme Inc could have the organisations Acme UK and Acme US.
When adding a partnership, if the suggested results include the organisation you're looking for
but not the correct department, select ‘Create an additional org for this domain’
and enter the name of the new organisation; for example Acme EU.
